1. Information We Collect

Outline Clips is a clip-submission, view-attribution, and payout platform. Brands (clients) run campaigns; clippers join campaigns, connect social accounts, and submit clips for review. What we collect depends on your role on the platform.

Account & Identity

• Your name and email address
• Authentication details from our sign-in provider (Clerk)

Social Accounts & Clips

• Social media profile URLs submitted for verification, and the platform they belong to
• Clip URLs you submit and the campaigns you associate them with
• View counts recorded against your clips

Payout Details

• Bank account details — country, currency, account holder name, account number
• Or crypto address details — currency, network, wallet address, optional memo/label

Technical Data

• Standard technical data, such as IP-derived rate-limiting hashes, to keep the service safe

2. How We Use It

We use your information to run the core functions of the platform:

• Verifying that you own the social accounts you submit
• Reviewing and approving clip submissions
• Calculating earnings from recorded view counts
• Processing payouts to the bank account or crypto address you provide

Brands can see performance data for their own campaigns — clip counts, views, and spend against budget — but never another clipper's personal contact details or payout information. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Account Verification

When you submit a social account, we may generate a short verification code and ask you to place it somewhere on that account (such as your bio) so we can confirm ownership. For platforms where this can be checked automatically, our system reads the public profile to look for the code. For platforms where it can't, an admin reviews the submission manually.

Either way, we only look at what is publicly visible on the profile you submit — we never ask for or store your social media password.

4. What We Share

Approved clip submissions may be shown publicly (for example, on a campaign or leaderboard page) together with their view counts. The following are never made public:

• Payout details (bank or crypto information)
• Contact information
• Pending or rejected submissions

We also send account, campaign, and payout-related emails (such as sign-in codes and status updates) through our transactional email provider — these are operational emails tied to your use of the platform, not marketing, and we do not sell your information to third parties.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account, campaign, clip, and payout data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to resolve disputes, keep records of past payouts, or meet legal obligations.

To request deletion of your information, email contact@outlinemotion.com from the address on your account. We will delete or anonymize your personal data — profile details, submitted social account links, and payout method details — within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records (for example, completed payout history) for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and revising the "Last updated" date above.
